Bay Holiday 09

I decided to make a last minute trip to the Bay for Christmas to see the fam!

Always great to see my sisters Ade and Al…

…and of course my brother Adam who loves to get his “thizz” face on!

I also got to meet up with my girls and go to a cool lounge/restaurant spot in Oakland called MUA…

LOVED this Mussels dish with fries and aoili!!

I also stepped out in the Sucka Free to make a quick “appearance” at Atmosphere with Lucena

And what trip would be complete without going to a Warriors game…me and my sisters checked out Golden State taking on Boston Celtics…and of course me being there got them a W! lol

Bon Qui Qui

Here’s a plug for one of my favorite people in the world, Anjelah Johnson. I recently had her interviewed for a couple of my TV projects, On The Flipside and First Look on the Cheer Channel, so look out for those features, but there was just so much fun stuff (that didn’t make the edits), I decided to share!! In this EXCLUSIVE video interview (thanks AJ and Julius) she does her “Filipino accent” when talking about her new movie Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and also gives us the back story on her popular character Bon Qui Qui – it’s all about Memphis, Burger King and her brother! MVPuppets with Santa!

I just love these Nike Basketball MVPuppets!! I could watch them over and over!! Sherlock Holmes

I went to an advance screening for Christmas Day opener Sherlock Holmes… So maybe I’m just not that Sherlock Holmes “savvy,” but I found it to be sort of weird – I don’t know what other word to use! The film just starts with no real set up or lead in, and while the intention may’ve been to have an action-packed opening, I felt confused.

Overall the story seemed a bit forced, I was constantly thinking and trying to figure out what was going on and where the story was going! The acting wasn’t bad, Robert Downey Jr. played his part well and portrayed an interesting relationship with Watson, played by Jude Law…sort of hinting at a gay relationship!

The plus’ in this flick were some of the special effects, and the lovely costuming, since it was a period piece…but I’d say this isn’t a MUST SEE in the theater, it can wait til DVD! Rachel McAdams also pops up in the film as Adler, Sherlock’s “love interest.”
