Marchesa Girls

I had the pleasure of interviewing the “Marchesa Girls” last week at Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour! These ladies create some of the most beautiful & amazing dresses and gowns and you’ve seen the Marchesa designs on all the red carpets! JLo, Halle Berry, Freida Pinto, etc… I wish I had enough occassions and events to wear every single one in the collection.

Side note…I wore my friend Tamae’s – Ishii NYC designer top – for the interview and got tons of compliments. See my previous post where I mentioned that Paula Abdul wore the same top for an episode of American Idol!

AKOO by TI

I attended the AKOO by TI fashion show Saturday night for Funkshion fashion week! It was a nice show and there was some nice stuff…check out my girl Melanie Tillbrook (below) workin’ the runway. After the AKOO show in the tent on the beach, I went to the Parish fashion show on a Yacht! I couldn’t find pictures from that show though…

Yummy In My Tummy

For all the Mom’s…a fresh, organic “baby” food maker in South Florida. It’s called “Yummy in my Tummy.” A friend of mine, Heather, tipped me off to it, since she loves it for her young son and it’s really one of a kind! The “Stage 3” Chile, Tomato Basil Pasta and Cous Cous dishes definitely took me by suprise!

Market Street – SF

 

If you are walking down Market Street in San Francisco…look out for posters that my sister (Adrienne) designed. There are 6 different designs, 24 posters total that are displayed in the kiosks down Market Street. She says they start out around 7th Street by Fox Plaza and Starbucks.

Read My Lips

Natasha Lipshtick can read lips…well “lip prints” anyway! So I puckered up…it was fun and insightful! Here are a few things she told me that didn’t make the edit: “when it comes to love you really analyze the person and decide if it’s right for you or not” and “a poem or write something to you, you would really appreciate it, it would means more to you than maybe spending thousands of dollars because you know that he really cares.”  Awww… She also said I have “green” aura…I hope that means money! lol
