NFL Cheerleaders Calendars

I just posted a brand new SPECIAL, EXCLUSIVE “NFL CHEERLEADERS CALENDARS” edition of On The Flipside! Of course I always have to pay homage to my “former” life, but really I just think pro team dancers and cheerleaders are amazing women who get to do some fun stuff. Back “in my day” we didn’t have so much travel and opportunity…it was still fun and worth it, but these days the ladies are treated to a bit more! Anyway, enjoy the episode featuring Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and my beloved Oakland Raiderettes!

Picture Perfect

I recently did what turned out to be an amazing photo shoot with a “student” photographer India Jackson. She may still be learning, but I think she’s already very capable of hanging with the pro’s! We met through a mutual friend, she liked my look and asked if she could shoot some shots of me for her portfolio…I thought it’d be fun and I am very pleased with how fabulous the pictures look. Cool Gear for the School Year!

I attended “Cool Gear for the School Year” hosted by the Jason Taylor Foundation at Old Navy today! It’s such a great event giving 60 deserving children from South Florida a $300 shopping spree….AND they get to shop with athletes and celebs! So many of the Miami Dolphins current players came out to support the cause and a few alum were also in attendance. I even got in the spirit with DJ Laz from Power 96 calling me out to do the “stanky leg” …we’ll see if that makes the video highlights coming soon On The Flipside!

The BADDEST… Trina also stopped in …she was all into it…carrying jeans and offering style tips to her student! I think that young lady really lucked out!

Angel Hands for ALS

Last week was busy for me…hosting events! The second event I hosted was a launch party for Angels Hands for ALS in South Florida.

The cocktail social took place at the River Lounge inside the Epic Hotel in downtown Miami and also featured a fun fashion show by Ramsey and Jade.

And I was not solo for this event…I co-hosted with the Univision’s beautiful Karol Rosa (Sabado Gigante) -I was totally in love with her hair…so pretty!

Thanks to Liza and Gabriel of Creativas Group for putting together such an awesome event and asking me to be part of it!

Happenstance Designs

My baby sister Alison aka bologna popped up on a blog in this “bridal” look…she’s SO CUTE!! It’s sort of weird to see my kid sister in this setting, but she’s helping out her friend Clarice who does these great wedding-themed creations as seen on her site Happenstance Designs! Congrats to bologna and Clarice…great work ladies!!

Fresh Kicks

My Nike “Air Max” iDs came in yesterday! I designed them myself and I’m very happy with how they came out! I had a choice between designing Dunks, Cortez or Air Max, and honestly, I picked these because the sole is thicker (higher) and I’m so used to heels…so I needed the extra height in my kicks too!

I even had my “signature” put on them…so you know they are MINE! I know Nike’s been doing this customizable iD thing for a while, but I believe the style I got is and/or was exclusive…  I know ya’ll like that silver metallic I put on there too, huh!?!? Thanks to The 305 for encouraging me to post pix! 🙂
