NFL AM

I made my NFL Network debut yesterday on their morning show, “NFL AM,” with a countdown style segment on NFL’s Pop Culture Crossovers. It was a fun segment and I got plenty of great feedback, so hopefully I’ll be bringing more “pop culture” to the show very soon!

Check out my 5 for the week…. From Colin Kaepernick’s kicks to Kurt Warner’s life story.

At any rate, here’s my clip from the show…press play!

And — thanks to Touch Dolls boutique for helping me select my yellow dress for the segment!

On another note, wish I could be in Sacramento today to take the stage and perform alongside my fellow King’s Alumni dancers for the “Long Live the King’s” rally…

Kick It

For the past 7 years, one of my best buds from college has been the mind behind the “Kick It” kickball tournament…and the event has grown to include hundreds of people, teams lined up giving “Kick It” a whole new meaning! LOL!! Anyway, it’s all in fun and Bay Tiger Video did a great job with this year’s highlight video, so I just had to share… πŸ™‚

Ms. Racing Queen

I spent my St. Patty’s Day as a judge for the Ms. Racing Queen pageant at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale! Not only was it exciting to help select the 5 ladies who will compete as finalists with 5 additional finalists from the Santa Anita Race Track in So Cal, but I was able to educate myself a bit in the sport of horse racing as well!! This was the second week I have been able to participate as a judge…each week they have been narrowing it down, culminating in the FINALS next Sunday, where they will crown the queen — uh, did I mention she will take home a cool $100k!?!? Not a bad gig, eh??? Good luck to all the ladies…see some of my pics from today’s event!! πŸ™‚

Miami HEAT :: Harlem Shake

I had to post this…just can’t get enough of this video!!! πŸ™‚ So, this Harlem Shake “craze” has been making the rounds and everyone is getting in on the action with their own version. Well, the Miami HEAT (in my opinion) have made the best video hands down!!! I love that these guys aka millionaires, did the video as a team effort, and it’s so great to see them show off a fun side and be able to laugh at themselves being silly…and make me/others laugh and smile too! πŸ™‚

And — if you couldn’t tell who’s who…here’s a quick rundown:

Some of the mysterious characters in the #HarlemShake video: Horse = Shane Battier, Nacho Libre = Joel Anthony, Kanye Bear = Dwyane Wade, Phantom = Ray Allen, Mime = Rashard Lewis
