I checked out the new Mel Gibson action(ish) thriller “Edge of Darkness,” that opens up in theaters this Friday. It’s a pretty crazy, intense storyline, but I thought Mel Gibson did a great job in his role as a single father who is trying to figure out who is responsible for murdering his daughter. It’s one of those plot that gets pretty deep…I didn’t expect it to be so “thick,” so I did have to pay good attention to what was going on and the “technicalities” of the string of events! I screened this one in Sunny Isles, so it was more of the “retired” crowd and they REALLY enjoyed it! Cheering and clapping…lol I did enjoy it, I felt it dragged at times, but overall… you can see it in the theater.
