MIA Biscayne

Check out my feature story on a brand new lounge/resto in downtown Miami. This place is very cool and the foods not bad either! It has a nice VIP, lounge and cool effects like an interactive wall and bar that respond to movement and touch! The only other place they have this technology are in the U.K. and Singapore…pretty chic, eh? I’ll also be hosting an event here for Title beverage next Friday the 18th…but either way, I like this spot..and it’s just down the street from my place!

Millz on the Move

I’m adding another duty to my plate…serving as the point person, manager, booker, publicist, etc.. for rapper Jae Millz! Here’s his bio…

Harlem’s own Jae Millz is showing no signs of slowing down. Over the past decade he’s achieved legendary status as an underground battle rapper, mastered the mixtape scene and has earned a respected name in hip hop. Now he’s teamed up with Young Money Entertainment, and Jae Millz is poised to make his mark with the masses.

Since partnering with superstar Lil Wayne, Millz has been featured on several Young Money tracks including the smash hit, “Every Girl” that peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard charts. The New York rapper has also been performing coast-to-coast with YME on the America’s Most Wanted and I Am Music tours.

As a solo artist, Jae Millz has released bangers “Holla at a Playa;” “My Swag,” produced by Scott Storch; “Bring It Back,” featuring Jadakiss; “Who?” with Swizz Beatz; and his first major release, “No, No, No.”

In 2003, Diddy enlisted Millz to appear on MTV’s Making The Band for a freestyle battle with E. Ness. Since that television cameo, he’s recorded with numerous top hip hop artists from T.I., Fat Joe, Fabolous, Pitbull, Cam’ron, Juelz Santana and Paul Wall; to producers Cool and Dre, Ron Browz, DJ Khaled, DJ Quik, The Heatmakers and Alchemist. He was even featured on Chamillionaire’s remix for the Grammy-Award winning song, “Ridin’.”

From a teenage emcee, staging lunchroom battles, Jae Millz has evolved into a rapper worthy of the world’s stage. “In all honesty, I’m a rappers rapper, and I make music for everybody, because at the end of the day I’m human. I go through the same things that everybody else goes through.”

I’ve known him through his Wanna Blow team (my NYC family) for a while, just before he released “No, No, No” and these days he’s my neighbor in Miami since signing a joint-venture deal with Young Money Entertainment. Anyway, those who are close to me know this is definitely up my alley, while others might be suprised…either way…LET’S GO!!!!!!!!!!! I’m excited, I’ve already got a lot in the pipeline and I’m gonna make this happen. So, for Jae Millz bookings and opportunities contact me at: millzonthemove@gmail.com

**This is not my departure from TV…just another hustle to keep me busy!

Garia Golf Car

I made a trip to SUPER HOT Las Vegas last week to check out the Garia Golf Car! It’s a luxury golf car…NOT “cart”…that’s 100% customizable. I had a great time taking it out for a ride and it was a nice, select group of golf savvy media (like me) hanging out!! Another Denmark export, NFL alum Morten Andersen was there for the test drives and his fellow countryman Rene Fris of Bravo’s Sheer Genius, turned out for the event as well!

They offered me golf lessons since I don’t golf…and it didn’t get much farther than the putting, but keep in mind…it was 110 degrees..so it’s sort of hard to concentrate in that DRY HEAT!

Rene and I were both taking lessons…so I couldn’t help but ask this hair expert what he would do with my mane…he said he’d cut it! Figures!! lol
