ADE’s DIRTY 30

I spent last weekend on a houseboat in Lake Berryessa to celebrate my sister Ade’s 30th Birthday! It was my first time for a houseboat and you know my sister had to do it up big pimpin’ style, so she got the MEGA, 70 foot boat with a jacuzzi and slide off the top!

Of course we started the adventure with a champagne toast…

All my siblings were aboard for the ride, a couple cousins from LA and a handful of my sister’s friends also made the voyage… **ADE has a thing for wigs and she has an alter ego, “CoCo.”

Here’s a look down the slide…I went down one time! The current in this spot was actually pretty strong, so you know…I didn’t want to get “carried” away! lol

We also did some karaoke singing on ADE”s magic mic, it’s one of her favorite things to do…so why not, right? We’re on a boat. In this picture (below), Alison is donning the “Snookie” wig…

All in all a very cool experience and the lake was so serene and empty really, so we had the lake pretty much to ourselves..and the weather was excellent. The one thing that trips me out though is that they turned this big boat over to us, and we had to drive it and anchor it, etc… UH, no one of the boat had EVER done that before..IN LIFE!! haha So, there was a bit of an adventure getting it (re) anchored in the dark…but we survived and it gives me a story to tell!! The peaceful morning view was priceless…

Reunion RECAP and VIDEO

It was a fabulous event and a huge success, being the inaugural year. I met some amazing women who are both inspiring and empowering… I just KNOW this event will grow by leaps and bounds with each year, so I hope all the ladies who can claim the “elite” status of having cheered on the NFL sidelines will consider joining us next time around! As NFL Cheer Alumni we can be such a powerful group affecting change…and of course we make great girlfriends and memories.

AUBS + GABY: Adventures in Sin City

One of my very bestest friends Gaby joined me in Vegas this past weekend… We both went for the Pro Football Cheerleader Alumni Reunion, but it was also a nice girls getaway for us! And – our hang outs are usually 1 of 2 things…really chill, lay around and relax…OR we go from 1 to 100 in no time! This trip we did a little of both! ha

Pro Football Cheer Alumni Reunion

AMAZING weekend in Vegas with FABULOUS women representing most of the NFL teams and several eras of Pro Football!! I’m so glad I can say I was part of the inaugural..and this “association” is only going to grow bigger and bigger every year… a collection of a very elite group of women!

“On The Flipside” I created the opening slideshow (above) with photos showcasing many of the attendees in their “cheering” days – I’ll be editing a highlight reel with video from the event very soon… In the meantime, below are some of the unofficial event photos! Hilton Head

FABULOUS!!! I was so excited to take a quick trip to Hilton Head for “business.” I have always heard such wonderful things about this island and it did not disappoint! I was rollin’ solo on this trip and just to unwind, relax and sit along the beach for an afternoon was all I needed.

I stayed in an Oceanfront Suite at the Hilton Resort…check out the “lounge” scene on my balcony!

My favorite though, was being on the beach, along the warm Atlantic Ocean…

During the afternoon it’s low tide, so the “beach” stretches pretty far before you get to the water and all the sand is super soft, with a touch of moisture, but packed tightly so people can bike along the shore >> LOVE THAT!

This was my “set up” …it felt private, no one within 20/30 yards + …first I was laying out right on the edge where my toes were in the water, but as you can see (my trail), I dragged it back when the tide started to come back in.

OTF: EP. 31 – Chrissy Field

My latest episode of On The Flipside is out….and since I’m in the Bay, we shot this one near the Golden Gate Bridge at Chrissy Field in San Francisco.

Lots of fun stuff on this edition. First In Oakland for Seattle Seahawk Marshawn Lynch and his cousin Tampa Bay Buccaneer Josh Johnson’s youth football camp, Marshawn’s fellow Cal teammate Justin Forsett and Pittsburgh Steeler Lamarr Woodley were also there to help out. Then, it’s always a good time with DJ Irie…back in Miami for his 7th Annual “Irie Weekend.” I caught up with him, Lil Jon, Lil Jon sons DJ Slade, New Orleans Saint Darren Sharper and former N*SYNC-er Chris Kirkpatrick. also have video highlights from Red Bull’s red Bulletin launch party with Reggie Bush and the Sideline Distraction is an Orlando Magic Dancer!

Me + My Girlfriends

Last weekend’s adventure also including lots of time with me and my girlfriends..I didn’t get to see them ALL (Kimi), but everyone else came out to play, including Cat from Jax and Gaby from PHX! It also happened to be Irie Weekend as in DJ Irie…so lots of fun festivities going on…. My first stop was to see the Shelton’s and baby Darion!! I think his picture says it all…SIMPLY ADORABLE!!

Then, later that night….I hit up Miami Beach and the Crown Royal Black Lounge at Mokai with Riza, where we met up with the Lady Dana!

Friday I attended the Irie Weekend Golf Tourney to shoot some interviews and footage for On The Flipside …

The best part was when Irie was “on stage” with Flo Rida..so fun to WATCH him have fun..great vibe and atmosphere!!

Mind you it was really only about getting dressed up so I could rock the fabulous feather earring you see me wearing in the picture..Gaby spotted ’em for me, and well, I was destined to have the earrings!

On another note…I learned oh SO MANY things from my friends this weekend, Blumpkin via Cat, Crippled Sparrow via Cherisse…but nothing could top Gaby’s “Cat Daddy” dance! She even shared this video with me of her dancing the dance….it’s dark and you have to turn your head to the side to watch…but you get the picture…enjoy!!
