My Nike “Air Max” iDs came in yesterday! I designed them myself and I’m very happy with how they came out! I had a choice between designing Dunks, Cortez or Air Max, and honestly, I picked these because the sole is thicker (higher) and I’m so used to heels…so I needed the extra height in my kicks too!

I even had my “signature” put on them…so you know they are MINE! I know Nike’s been doing this customizable iD thing for a while, but I believe the style I got is and/or was exclusive…  I know ya’ll like that silver metallic I put on there too, huh!?!? Thanks to The 305 for encouraging me to post pix!

So, I did a story about the BIG BUTT OBSESSION! It was very fun to write and produce…now I’m enlightened about the increasingly popular “Brazilian Butt Lift!” But, when it comes to women with lot of booty…I mean…how can you tell a real from “formed?!?” lol Anyway, check the video for the 411 and also hear from Flo Rida and Beyonce on the “backside” topic. I’m just gonna keep doing my squats and lunges at the gym!

Everyone knows I’m a “jeans and a top” kind of gal… So when my good friend Mo told me about this custom fit online jean retailer that even allows you to pick and choose every detail of the pant, I had to check it out! It’s very cool and reasonably priced (comprable to what you’d pay in a major dept. store), it’s sort of fun to be able to put eveyrthing you like into the “perfect pair!” For example, I prefer dark denim with a low rise (I feel short-waisted) and bootcut, cuz my calves need the room! I’m sure it’s especially helpful for chicas with length issues or shapes that don’t fit the cookie cutter! All you have to do is enter your waist measurement (around the belly button) and they calculate the rest based on your height, weight, etc… AND – I found it amusing when I had to answer questions about how flat my stomach is or how much my booty sticks out! lol But, you gotta be honest so that they can make sure your jeans fit!! Popular fashion labels like Victoria’s Secret “PINK” and Sanctuary are offering “organic” alternatives to their clothing, so there’s the “regular” and “organic” versions! Also, Physician’s Formula has come out with the first 100% Organic Mascara and L’Occitane has an all-over body moisturizer to refresh your skin, the freshest (you mix it yourself) and there’s no preservatives added!

Nike recently invited me to their Nike South penthouse offices to check out their new 2009 Spring/Summer Nike Sportwear Collection! A lot of the inspiration this time around came from their ACG products…and they’ve introduced a whole lot of new items for women, so you don’t have to buy “small” men’s sizes anymore! The Nike Sportswear line is more for hanging out and lounging, looking cute and sporty, rather than for performance and working out, but all the same technology and careful design goes into all of Nike’s stuff! Trust me…it’s a serious science for them. There are so many great patterns, colors and styles…and when it comes to the kicks, they’ve got new twists (i.e. flywire and fabrics) on the classics. There’s the dunk, skinny dunk, Air Max, AF-1 and the one that brought back Jr. High memories…the Nike Cortez!

For all the Mom’s…a fresh, organic “baby” food maker in South Florida. It’s called “Yummy in my Tummy.” A friend of mine, Heather, tipped me off to it, since she loves it for her young son and it’s really one of a kind! The “Stage 3″ Chile, Tomato Basil Pasta and Cous Cous dishes definitely took me by suprise!
